Welcome to the
Payne Branch Library
The Payne Branch
Library was the second branch library of the Paulding County Carnegie
Library system. It was established in 1996 in a store-front at the
corner of SR 49 and SR 500 in the Village of Payne. The library was
opened via a cooperative effort between a dedicated group of residents,
the Village of Payne and the Paulding County Carnegie Library in
response to rising library use and loss of bookmobile service.
